Amazon has been doing amazingly well. Does that translate to more money (pay hike and more RSUs) for employees during the yearly reviews ??
Since a large part of the comp is in stock, when the stock price goes up, pay automatically goes up. That’s the whole point of RSUs.
Definitely not. It is better that this spike is after reviews and not before so we are granted more shares because of a dollar target. Annual reviews are over. A few people haven’t been told their new comp, but this news doesn’t change much. A lot of people have stock vesting in a few weeks so this could be 1000s of dollars in the value of those shares, but we don’t get more when there is good news (we get fewer when they do grant at review and promo because of the higher price).
I wonder if they're inclined to be less generous knowing that they're going to beat earnings expectations.
Stock goesup
Congrats amazonians :)
More RSUs would increase their stock based comp expenses and drive down profits...
Your RSUs become more valuable as the stock prices go up. My boss got his initial grant at 280 USD 5 years ago and hasn't sell any of his stock... He could retire tomorrow and chill.
I came only 5 years late
Total Comp🔥! 💵
Just stick appreciation
As people say, it’s indirect, but is powerful. My signing bonus was at 113. All those good earnings translated into $$
No, you get to slog more
I'll wait for an Amazonian to answer that
thatchick..What he basically means is shut the eff up..
