Got this post on Linkedin. Amazon is hiring only female candidates. How is it justified in the name of diversity? If it was opposite, then it would have been a really big news. Why not now?
Is that a phishing email?
that's not an email, someone posted it on Linkedin
Too sexist if amazon is doing so! This can be an individual but sure not a company wide effort!
Never heard of diversity events?
I guess that’s legal in India? Don’t think being that blatant would fly in the states
Yep. In my undergrad, IBM only allowed female students to apply for on campus interviews.
This is obviously a fake posting
No
It’s about to be legal here too, see CA prop 16
Next up: you must include a recent picture of yourself in the resume.
Production ready code on paper 🤣🤣🤣
Yes they will ask you to write on paper in onsite interview....or machine but without autosuggestions .
Sure, been to onsites myself. Still, production ready meaning unit tests, regression tests, plus proper error handling in source. I doubt someone does that in an onsite interview. If the test suite is absent then that’s not production level code by any means.
