Amazon internal transfer
So I've been reaching out to managers who've posted jobs on the board but most of them don't seem to be replying back. Is that normal or are they just not looking for people anymore? Just curious thanks Edit: Tech L4

Also many of the jobs that are listed have already been filled. They are notoriously slow updating jobfinder.

Managers don’t usually want L4s from other teams. As L5 you’d get quick response in most cases.

Location matters too. AFAIK it is super hard to get an international transfer done for L4s. If you are in Seattle, I can think of a few teams open to L4 SDEs (internal transfers).
What level, tech or non tech?
Tech l4
L4 tend to be easier to fill, so more supply makes hiring manager less inclined to respond/jump on it. Suggest to incl what makes you standout and unique in your outreach email if you haven’t been doing that already.
