Why?
Management is terrible. Team does not help. It's "purposeful Darwinism". If you are nice and feel guilty in playing rough, you won't survive.
Yeah you can. As cliché as it is to quote leadership principles, being right a lot earns trust. Once you have that trust you don’t need to argue with others to get people to do what you want. You also have to realize it’s not your responsibility to put out every fire. If you let people know what’s wrong, you don’t have to be the one to put out the fire. If they don’t want to take your advice, let them fail at it. If they want to take your advice, delegate it. If management asks you to do it anyways, tell them that’s what the oncall is for. If they still say no, work with them to figure out what gets pushed out so that you have time to do it (during normal business hours). Source: was happy at amazon for 6 years and think there was only once or twice I had to “play rough.” Plenty of times I was frustrated due to other people or teams not doing the right thing but that doesn’t mean I’m going to go out of my way to do their job.
I heard Amazon is a great American company that is customer focused, pays employees well, and has successful leaders who make great next careers too. What is wrong with it?
And has stocked 🍌 racks as well
Lmfao how ppl work there woth 🍌 racks when others offer free food
Starting to get tired of these shit posts. If you hate it, then LEAVE. No one is forcing you to work at Amazon. Its employment at will. Make use of that benefit instead of only whining on Blind.
So what’re you going to do about it?
Can't do anything about it. Raised the complaint with skip. Planning to leave. But it has been very upsetting.
How long have you been at Amazon?
So really tell us what’s on your mind!!!
Amazon == diarrhea
Just ask for PIP and walk out with money. Do something about it.
Yeah. Fuck Amazon.
