Amazon joining bonus payout
How is amazon joining bonus payout done . I got an offer but the payout is monthly and not through the first pay check. Is that the norm at amazon . Current Tc 150k . Amazon offer 150k/ 50 and 40k bonus /88 shares @amazon

This is normal. And I haven't heard that any sign on bonuses are payed in full upfront. Those bonuses are typically stretched monthly throughout the first two years to compensate for the vesting gap.

First portion of payout should be a lump sum, second portion (2nd year) is spread out monthly.
If it is more than 25k a year, it's paid out with each month's paycheck. Otherwise with first paycheck.
