Hello, is it always necessary to explain a scenario from your present job for the answers to the amazon leadership principle questions or is it ok to give an example of a scenario that you have encountered in your life outside your present job?
You can use a personal situation to answer a question, not every story has to be work related. This post could be helpful: https://www.rooftopslushie.com/request/Amazon-Leadership-Principles-Interview-Questions-149
Any example from your past career is fine, more recent it is, better it is.
It’s best to make up a tantalizing tale if you can’t think of a personal experience.

Job scenario is better, but life is ok if you don’t have a job scenario. If you are a new grad, I’d imagine there is more leniency for life examples.
