Amazon native app

Why donโ€™t you make a native app? The web view is so annoying to use.

does amazon even hire designers?

Adobe Blind4Fun Apr 8, 2022

Good question .. not designers, but until recently Amazon had a common role where people were hired based on algo questions and later trained to be front end engineers. Finally they realized and started a new Front end role now.

The problem is that every button on every page of the Amazon app is owned by a different team.

Amazon $milkshake Apr 8, 2022

If you think amazon app is bad, wait till you see the app for accessing internal docs. Spoiler alert: itโ€™s so bad that it canโ€™t even render google search page correctly

Amazon is a bad place to do mobile development.
