I applied for the new grad position and to my surprise I somehow got an OA.

I have seven days, and I've never touched leetcode before.

Is it doable to pass the OA and the interview if I get it?

OA should be easy. Then if you pass ask to schedule the loop as far as possible so you have time to leetcode

Start leetcode easy problems in order: array/strings, linked lists, graphs

Then once you let comfortable solving easy by yourself without looking up solution and in optimal way, move on to medium

Update: took the OA, it was super easy. First one 15/15 second one was 11/15 with the rest being TLE. I changed one line and it passed all test cases so I got 2/2 questions. Fingers crossed for the onsite, gonna try to schedule it as far as possible so I can grind

    • Good luck! With those results you should definitely get to onsites. Also, idk if they still do this but they used to just give new grads one 30 min behavioral interview (no LC) if you did well enough on OA.

Honestly if you've never touched leetcode before you're kinda fucked. It takes a decent amount of practice to get good at LC. Your only hope is to speedrun the blind75 (10 mins to try to solve the problem + 10 mins trying to understand the solution for each problem) maybe 2-3 times

lmao that's what I thought; thanks for the tip, I'm gonna try to grind it out and if it doesn't work out I'll just accept one of the garbage 70k offers I have and try again in a year after leetcoding for a bit. Honestly I'm surprised I got the OA at all, my resume is dogshit
