Current
5 yoe @ Samsung, semiconductor mfg
I have a BS in Chem E
110 TC
Austin, TX
I interviewed a few times with Amazon,
1- got down leveled from L5 to L4 (tech role)
1- interviewed for L6, made it all the way through and then rejected
Now I have an interview for a non tech PM and recruiter told me salary range is from 125 - 130 TC
Also, it's remote for now.
If I go through with this interview, and get the position. How easy is it to switch to a tech PM role internally? And also do they bumb up salary if you successfully move internally?

When you move, you will get a bump if youโre below the bottom of your new band. You would make more by getting an offer for a tech role.
