Got an offer from Amazon, target comp is set to 355k but I see it is almost a 55k difference in total comp for years 3rd and 4th, HM is telling me comp will be matched for years 3rd and 4th.
need advice is it a gamble to accept this offer?
I am nervous seeing all these posts on the blind that HM will do hire to fire to reach the URA

base - 185k - total stocks for 4 years 79
1st year bonus - 160k
2nd year bonus - 132k
3rd year and 4th years

As for PIP that’s up to you. It’s not that large of a % that get put on PIP. With 8 YOE and coming from another big tech company I think you’ll have a good chance of succeeding.
As far as the stock growth actually happening? Well they’ve always said if they don’t meet the 15% YoY growth they would make up for it. This is the first year that’s ever happened other than I think 2008 and you see what they’ve done now to make up for it.
Manager has to meet the quota, he won’t lay off seasoned folks .. team might be hiring a new person every year just to meet the quota.
The mandatory pip policy is the reason I will never join Amazon.
