Received an offer for Amazon. Was downlevelled from SDE2 to SDE1. Offer is for Seattle base: 140K $ Sign-on: 30k + 21k Rsu's: 33 over 4 years 2.5 yoe How do y'all think this offer is? I don't have any competing offers.

It's almost 173k first year with no upfront big sign on. If you have >2-3 yrs exp, try at other companies. 30k gets split over 12 months and you get 1.6 shares at the end of year 1.
~170-180 is top of band for Seattle. Fastest I’ve seen someone get promoted from sde 1->2 was 14 months

When you say 3+ yoe, does it only mean US experience? Because i have seen experiences gained in home country don’t have much value
If you ace the interview, then it counts. Amzn loves downgrading people, it’s all interview performance based.
