Amazon on-site SDE2 interview
Any examples of questions you guys have got in interviews at amazon for SDE roles? Preparing for my on-site and don’t know what to expect, because the phone interview was ridiculously easy (basically just re-formatting a HashMap). People say leetcode medium, but is it actually? I’ve interviewed at Apple and not a single question was leetcode, they were all more difficult, yet interesting. Any suggestions?

I usually just make up a random question on the fly 10-15 minutes before an interview. I try not to ask leetcode questions because I want a conversation rather than just a straight up answer. But I know others who ask medium to hard leetcode questions. In terms of Apple vs Amazon, I felt my amazon one was more challenging.
I got a combination of DS/Algo questions of leetcode medium difficulty (leaning towards the more difficult side of mediums) 1 class/OO design question and 1 System design question for my onsite. Felt good about prep after reading grokking the system design interview and doing around 150 (mostly medium) leetcode questions
Could you PM as well regarding Apple phone screen? With regards to your question, I would suggest to complete all F G and Amazon tagged questions.
At Apple they were more difficult than leetcode medium?
Not necessarily more difficult, but a little different. None of them, at least that I recognized, were off leetcode. Couple of them were pretty tough
