I haven’t done shit today!
I got rejected from on-site at AWS. He told me you cannot interview again at AWS for the next 6 months, but doesn't know about other teams? What is the policy here for other teams? Should I still apply across Amazon?
They recommend 6 months gap between interviews but you can keep applying and recruiters do call. Good luck and don’t get dejected. You will be successful next time!
Usually if they say come back and apply in another X months its usually not a technical fit. See if you remember what you may have struggled on and keep practicing.
I think X months is just a general guideline. You could of failed LPs and still need to wait X months.
Sounds like a recycle over rejection for role fit. You can apply to other roles on other teams. If the feedback isn't bad then someone may reach out.
I think you can apply to other teams. You get any feedback on your rejection, out of curiosity?
The recuirter told it was positive from some interviewers, and they suggested I should interview for research scientist. I think it is because I don't have enough system design experience.
