I completed Amazon’s online coding challenge and it went good imo. however I received status update that Amazon is moving ahead with other candidates this time with no feedback details. was in contact with other Amazon recruiters before, shall I reach out and attempt another coding challenge? is that possible if I am on another email thread with them? also what is ideally the interval after which I can reappear for interview?
I got to round 3 and rejected, the logic thing is pretty easy, so I think they don’t like my answers on their work email simulation thing.....
I didn’t knew work simulation was that important, I probably answered honestly which probably didn’t match ideal answers
Did you pass all tests? Did you comment your code?
You have to comment your code next time. If you aced the technical and you didn't make it to the next round, you bombed LP. Hard. That work style assessment and simulation seems to be a huge deciding factor.
Probably passed 3/10 on one question and on other the given examples passed but said nothing about other test cases. It just said some issues running other hidden test cases. I gave correct time/space complexity and explanation of logic in the next 15 minute section where we give details about approach.
You have to pass all test cases. You didn’t do well at all if you passed 3/10. Not surprised you failed it.
You can reach out but your band scores weren't good. Nobody will consider you fro SDE for about 6 months when you can retest. You can still be considered for other roles if you wanted.
You mean other roles from other recruiters/orgs right now or in future?
Other job codes. If you failed the SDE2 assessment I doubt any other org would consider you for SDE.
