I’ve got a call from Amazon Alexa team and they have sent me an online test link that I need to take within 7 days. What kind of questions can I expect In this test? This is for SDE role with 2 yrs experience
Couple of coding questions and, if you pass that, a workplace simulation that has some light coding problems and subtle leadership principles questions
What site? How much time for test?
Some link sent by the recruiter. 1.5hr test
Is this the horrible test that watches your webcam and wants you to wear a rectal thermometer to check if you're cheating?
Uhh as of 10months ago, the only webcam use was to snap a picture of you with a state or school ID clearly visible
Hmm I got the same. I thought recruiter is not particularly interested in me so just gave me some random exercise. So Amazon replace phone screening with automated online test then?
Should take you less than a third of allotted time.
I joined Amazon 6 months ago with 2 years of experience. Had the webcam online 1.5 hr test. One string manipulation question and one BST question. Was flown out a few days later for a 4 hour on site before given an offer.
I would also ask the recruiter if you’re interviewing for an L4 (sde1) or an l5(sde2) role. I joined as an L4.
Hi..I have a similar test coming up. Was it leetcode hard level? Also there is a section for cultural fit. Did you also have that? I’ve read on the forums that it is based on their leadership principles etc.. thanks
Did you clear the assessment
Ask your recruiter You will probably be asked to solve 2-3 problems with actual code and get them to pass some test cases
