How long do I have to wait to apply for Amazon again? According to recruiter I have to wait 1 year.
I applied earlier this year, recruiter said it was 6 months.
If you interview ok with no red flags then No set time. Some managers say “try in a year “ in the profile. But if you pop up as a great fit and the new manager is anxious to fill a slot they may say let me talk to that person anyway. Also recruiters need fills or they become ex employees.
I was told I could apply for any other role at Amazon immediately but wasn't given a time frame on reapplying for the Solutions Architect role which I was rejected from. All they said was I couldn't reapply for it right now. If they told you specifically "one year" then I'd wait a minimum of six months before sending a "hey what's up" email to the recruiter.
Don’t assume amazon has their act together or that every hand knows what all the others are doing. There are literally three tracking systems in use now each one worse than the previous. We competed with each other more than say with Google for the same candidates so if not a junior recruiter we were willing to roll the dice on a marginal. The trouble is if you really screwed the interview or some idiot trashed you Same result is that it stays forever. People joke but get a new email. Apply with a new resume with your jobs slightly changed. Might find you out might not.

It depends how you performed last time. Usually it's 1 year, but could be shorter if you were very close.
Previously I have got interviews after just 2 months
Check with your last recruiter how they setup the recycle duration for you.
