My wife got an offer from amazon and relocating to Seattle using the relocation package provided to her and the move would be done in next 2 weeks. Recently I also got an offer from amazon which includes the relocation package and I was planning to use the lump sum option to which the recruiter and the relocation consultant has agreed. However the policy says that the relocation package is one per household and the recruiter doesn’t know about this situation. Shall I inform the recruiter about this and play safe? In this case I’ll lose my lump sum option. Has anyone faced a similar situation?
I would, not worth risking a 6 figure job over 7k
Very convenient overall. Congrats!
Divorce your wife
For 10k it’s worth it.
If you don't move at the same time, it makes sense
Play safe and let recruiter know
Makes no sense..how can it be one per household..is cost of moving one person's stuff same as moving two. You'll need your own flight tickets. One of you should opt for assisted move..and other lump sum
Because the relocation assistance includes the whole household and all the tickets for all family members
