What's your question?
If you are fortunately with Pivot, they will waive it.
We’ll hunt your ass down OP. Better start running.
You’ll get a final bill of dues as part of your exit documentation with the balance that is due by XX date. I’ve seen this for a friend who left 6 months early and had to pay back prorated. Don’t remember how much it was
No one will litigate. They'll send you a letter, but that's it. Don't pay it back if there's a good reason for you leaving like broken promises etc.
Thanks very much for the response. This is good info. If I leave it and don't pay it back, you don't think the bill will go to a collection agency?
Not likely. I have friends who have left a lot of companies. I know McKinsey, and a lot of large companies won't pursue. It's not worth the reputation hit or litigation. Not saying for sure it won't, but I haven't seen anyone get collected on
OP, any update? Did u end up paying back the relocation/signing?
Seems like many people have that problem! So did you leave without paying ?
Any updates here?
has anyone not paid this relocation bonus and got any notice from collection agency?
I haven’t yet. Going to hold out unless i get notice of a lawsuit or something lol
@gwil55 did you end up paying? Curious for anyone else that held out as I’m in the same boat right now.
I just got my email. Not paying shit. My boss made me move during a pandemic and then I had to relo back home… after 10+ years at the company, no exit interview either and all the shit I have seen, I am not paying.
Curious, How did it go for you guys. Did they pursue any further?
I heard that they had to pay back.
