How much we can negotiate for Amzn sde3 compensation? I am offered 200 stock, $145k base, and 120k bonus. Coming down to $285k / month.

You can ask for 160k base which the max for Seattle. Is 120k bonus first year? Or two years combined? Also 200 rsus or 200k?

Well, here was my math. Assuming the typical 4 yr vesting for RSU (145*4 + 120 +100 + 200) / 4 = 1000/4 = 250k/yr. And this isn't questioning, trying to understand as I'm soon abt to be in an offer juggling spot.

145+120+(1.725*10)=282,250 145+100+(1.983*30)=304,500 145+(2.280*80) = 326,500 145+(2.622*80) = 354,750 These numbers don’t make the most sense. Maybe at this level the first four years just don’t hit the same target. At some point giving a lot of stock that grows will do that.

At SDE2, comp offered to me is $150k base, 102 stocks, $64k + $48k signing bonus. Looking at your comp, I think its at the low end of SDE3 spectrum.
A target comp range for SDE3 in Seattle is 245k-345k. It lands at 300k-400k+ in w2 due to the performance of AMZN.
Amazon SDE3 is equivalent to Staff Software Engineer at LinkedIn and other top companies (not at Intuit/eBay/PayPal) The next level would be Principal. At LinkedIn the Staff compensation starts from 175k base + ~200k stocks

SDE3 is a large range. Can be anywhere from mid-senior to mid-staff.
