I worked at both Google and Amazon. Just found that Amazon in the Bay Area offers 15 days personal time off + 3 days floating holiday + 9 fixed holidays per year for 1st year employee. For 2-6 year employees, it increases to 20 days PTO. This is as good as (even a little bit better than) Google, and kind changed my impression about vacation policy at Amazon.
For Seattle, my coworker was offered 25 PTO year 1 at Amazon.
Really? Can this be negotiated? I am in the process of accepting the offer , may be I should ask ? My offer is for Seattle and it days 10 days for year 1

I was a full time googler and had the same as you described. If you read more carefully about my post, you will find out that Amazon actually has more holidays for 2nd year employees.
Also, to correct a minor mistake in your post, the vacation in Google should be 15/20/25 at 0/3/5 years. At least that was what I can remember. Compared to 15/20/25 at 0/1/6 years at Amazon Bay Area.

I was in the hospital for Pneumonia for 2 weeks and was told I have to use my PTO/Sick Days. So basically burned through most of my PTO because of that. Iâve heard Google does unlimited sick days.

No. Just a regular Amazon department in Sunnyvale. I also received an offer letter with 10 days vacation but found out given 15 days after joining. Also the offer letter stated 6 days floating holidays + 6 fixed holidays. But after I joined, I found everyone has 3 + 9 instead. So the offer letter is very inaccurate and may be copied from Seattle.
10 is only one category of PTO, you need to add in the others. I don't know why we don't just combine personal and vacation days into a single number. They are exactly the same thing just a different drop down in the time off tool when you book your PTO.
