Amazon vs JPMC

I’ve recently moved to JPMC and they have a lot of work in AWS, Google Cloud but then today I got an email from Amazon recruiter for a phone screen for Support Engineer position. I understand that Amazon is better than JPMC any day but would it be advisable to go for Amazon if the work profile is not as good as JPMC? Tata Consultancy Services vXsF04 OP Jan 16, 2020

It’s a devops profile

Amazon jdht Jan 16, 2020

I’m at AWS and you don’t want to be a support Engineer. Shoot for Systems Engineer.

Amazon ehws Jan 16, 2020

Devops >>> support engineer. Try for systems engineer

I slogged in a no name company for 4 years as an SDE so that I could join big tech as an SDE. Name doesn't compensate for shitty job profile. Stay in JPMC, build your profile, try again.

Go to Amazon. JPMC is a shithole for tech.

Amazon eyeohtee Feb 21, 2020

You’re saying this like amazon isn’t a shithole for tech

I haven’t worked for Amazon, but I can bet it’s no where as bad as JPMC. What do you hate so much about Amazon?
