TC same. Which one gets better prestige or gets recruiter/girls hyped, and better for long term career prospect.
Amazon for sure, Uber is unstable!
Amazon. Hands down.
Amazon for sure. I think Uber is great too but with that much negative press and fines that company is being slapped with, it makes it a riskier option.
Jack to Zack?
All depends on how risk-averse you are. Uber has a huge upside and most analysts target it at $50+, about double its current stock price. On the other hand, it could be a while (or never) before that happens. Uber has more perks and better benefits too, I should add. In terms of prestige, I think Amazon is slightly more prestigious, but mostly because of Uber’s negative press these days. But as far as girls go, they wouldn’t really care either way — if you think they do, you’re the reason why so many women complain about a lack of decent guys in the Bay Area ;)
I’m in a similar boat where Uber is giving TC 1.40x than my current salary making it 250k$. I’m on an H1b visa. Are you with ATG? Any insider views on ATG? How’s stress and wlb at atg?
Not with ATG, can’t comment on it at all. However, it does seem less stable than regular Uber. I’m really not sure what’ll happen with ATG. That being said, I believe you can ask the recruiter to place you within non-ATG, I think that’s possible.
Join Uber if you’re particularly good at self-promotion (writing standards, speaking, and leading large initiatives). And if you join, your best choice of team would be a growing division of the company such as Freight

Tipping culture is really getting out of control! Waiter gave me ‘a look’ because I tipped her 10% for ‘BAD service!’
Recruiters and (non tech) girls won't know the difference. Long term, it's hard to say. I'm not planning on leaving Uber any time soon but Amazon is a more stable company. I have not heard good things about Amazon work life though, and I'm enjoying myself at Uber despite what Blind users say
When do u start and leave job daily at uber?
Typically 9 to 5:30 for most people.
