Do warehouse workers get the same benefit as software engineers at Amazon? Read that they get 50% 401k matching and reasonably good health care, which is probably more generous than a lot of other retail jobs out there. Do they get pretty much the same healthcare plan/401k plan/etc as corporate employees? I can see how Amazon wouldn't want to create two tiers of benefits, which might explain why their software engineer perks is so below par.
So much so the normal working conditions are the perks for the engineers at Amazon
They get the same benefits where there are laws prohibiting companies from differentiating between workers. The same healthcare plans must be offered to all employees, for example. Remember, Amazon never treats its employees any better than it absolutely has to.
So that's why Amazon only offers 🍌
No, of course not. That being said, Amazon warehouse workers get excellent pay and benefits. OTOH the work is very hard
Full time salary employees have slightly Different rates for some of the things than hourly but other then that - yup That’s a big part of the reasons the benefits are decent but not on the high side no doubt. The workforce is huge and even warehouse employees get access to all benefits (btw including good training opportunities in all aspects amazon gives)
