I interviewed at Amazon few weeks back. Didn’t make it but no hard feelings and as recruiter wrote in her email, as per their policy they don’t share feedback. Ok that’s fine, though some feedback is always helpful to prepare for next. But since then every week I get an email to give feedback about their interview process etc. etc. I find this so odd, you won’t give feedback but keep pinging me for my feedback, how nice.
Yeah Amazon does this shit. I only give feedback if they do. They need to understand this is a two way street. Lyft gave proper feedback so I did too.
Google also does the same. No feedback but keep on asking about candidates experience
Give them feedback to give feedback to the interviewee.
Thanks! I'm definitely doing this next time.
That’s what I did...
Need to give feedback about no feedback. Won’t give feedback cuz they don’t give feedback. Deadlock.
In google email it was clearly mentioned that don't give them feedback that Google don't give feedback
Reply to the solicitation saying you will give feedback when they do.
Yeah no shit man. Same case with me too.
Amazon has got to be Qualtrics’ biggest customer. There is even a survey for feedback on your Pivot process!
I wonder if they chose net promoter or CSAT as a measurement for that.
It’s an opportunity to complain/appreciate what you experienced. Cheap company treat’s candidates’ time cheap. They want to improve future candidates’ experience, but won’t do the same to the candidates by providing a good feedback.
Good way to describe it lol. They certainly don't treat candidates time valuable.. I wonder if they ask those who are hired for feedback as well :)
They also require a 100% consensus by your interview panel
Why the move from VMware to amazon though ? Which position are you moving to though
Only because it's better in every way? 💁♀️
I don’t think so, I have offer from amazon , still I am interviewing with VMware. Everything shitty except for ur overpriced stock
