Amazon's new alexa products just killed the google for years to come!
Flood the market with Alexa in every possible damn thing. Alexa may not be as smart as "ok google" but it is pretty functional and versatile in daily life.
Don't know what you're taking about. I think Google Pixel is the Toyota Camry of voice assistants.
Op, so how do you integrate Alexa with the phone and infotainment systems of cars? Oh wait you can't. The real race is the personal assistant, and the home assistant is just a subset of that. Google Assistant and Siri will dominate that race. You can have all the gadgets in the world but Alexa is still lacking in the smarts department and ecosystem of services. Can't even pull up a map for me and send it to my phone.
I mean you can. I have an echo auto, all I would need is a device capable of bluetooth integration and an alexa skill. Alexa opens maps for me on the daily.
Try doing that before leaving the house
Some cool products announced, but I agree with @topCon. Amazon is lacking a smart phone. Until that happens the eco system is far from complete. May be they need to re-brand (read build from scratch) fire phone.
I’m no google fanboy. I’m an Apple user, mostly. But the Google Assistant/Home wipes the floor with the competition.
