Yesterday I had a remote BlueJeans face to face meeting. I joined on time and the interviewer didn’t show up. Later I was informed by the recruiter that his “meeting ran over”. She set me up again today ... today again the interviewer didn’t join. When I called up the recruiter she contacted him via phone and he joined by creating another meeting and not the one which was specified in the calendar invite.

Post that during the interview. He will ask me a question and the moment I start speaking he cuts me off and starts to show off his knowledge on the question. In the end the guy spoke for 90% of the time during the interview.

So first he doesn’t show up and then shows off ....

My TC is 0 as I don’t have a job now. I guess being an introvert sucks!

  • Interviewer speaking a lot during the interview is a good sign. These kind of people like to hear themselves speak. Start prepping for the next round.

Yes that was the bright side that I agreed with him at the end of his long speech and that pleased him a lot ....

    • If he’s the hiring manager and was super excited about agreement, you need to find out how he handles disagreement before you accept if they make an offer unless you’re ok with never disagreeing with him.
