An openly racist white house. What does it mean for all of us immigrants?

Frankly I'm puzzled as to how such an openly racist administration could come into power in a first world country. Steve Bannon and Jeff Sessions are more nutty than Trump himself. The alt right white supremacists are in power and they do not like brown skinned people like me because I'm "successful" and therefore I feel I'm walking with a target on my back in the future. Thoughts?
