Not sure if it's cool to post this here, but a close friend of mine is looking for a solid junior Android Engineer for his company (FTE role). He is looking for someone with awareness of good coding practices and styles, and we're optimizing for thoughtful engineers rather than someone who will do hacky work. TC is negotiable but base will be between $140-160k plus equity for now, with expectations of a base increase next year. Just laying this out on the table for full transparency. The company is *very* small right now — it is a startup of under 10 people. It's relatively fresh out of YC and the majority of the senior folks are ex-FAANG, so they will provide mentorship and networking on the long run. They are looking for good quality people right now — in work style and in empathy/thought. Main office is in a cozy spot in the Mission (SF). Walkable from both the 16th and 24th BART stations. If you're interested, please DM me with your resume. Happy to connect you. #Android #AndroidDevs Edit: they will transfer or apply for visas. Edit2: SF preferred but remote is okay too.
TC?
Not super high because it's a startup but it's negotiable. Think under $160k base and decent equity/stock options + regular benefits. But you'd have to talk to the founder for details.
Location?
SF is most ideal, but remote is possible.
I know this post is 4 months old but is your friend still looking for a junior Android engineer?
