How much does Autodesk give in annual RSUs as part of appraisal for management roles?

    Its for Mgmt role, Grade 14 and above only. They get options too.

    • All grades from grade 12 and above are eligible for RSUs. The number varies greatly depending on grade level. Not surprisingly, the higher the grade the more you would receive. The number of RSUs awarded is also impacted by your performance and by the stock price at the time of award. Just as an example and an approximate reflection of reality, a grade 14 is a senior manager and a grades 15 is a director. The typical total compensation annually for a senior manager is $225,000-$265,000 per year. That includes bonus and stock. Directors typically make in the low $300,000 range. Senior directors $400,000-$500,000, etc. all of these numbers assume that someone would have been with the company three years or longer so stock is vesting each year from the previous three years.

    • Autodesk also has a program called CEO stock we’re high performers would be granted additional stock occasionally above and beyond the normal annual award. That can be a very nice addition as well.

  • RSU refreshers are not standard at Autodesk. I don’t know anyone amongst Grade 12 and Grade 13 people I’ve talked to that got a refresher.
