Can anyone describe day to day activities of a AWS SA at Amazon? Is the role too technical? Is there hands on technical work? or more like a consultant role? #amazonaws #solutionarchitect #amazon

In Sydney, my comp is 160 base + 20k signon + 20k stocks, so sitting at around $200k. Compared to other SDEs, probably a 10% bump. I was hired on at the early-stages of L5 though. My coworkers probably have an extra 5-10 years of experience.

Is SA an L5 / L6 job? Does it grow as far as L7? Or what’s the career end game here
