Any Java backend team at Facebook?
Joining soon but I heard most teams use C++? I’ve never written a line of C++ in my life.

Sorry kiddo. C++, Python, PHP are now your friends. Java is used in 2% of teams, including a few dw teams and our buck team.

IAEC36 Apr 20, 2019Why would you want to join Facebook at this point? Facebook is the best choice for me right now from TC/benefits/tech stack/interview difficulty standpoint, but I feel it would be a stain on my resume long term.

What about teams like Instagram, Whatsapp?

Python and C++, Erlang.
Learn it, it’s the most powerful language. Java is shit and if you must, use C#.
