Would love to get an idea of TC in your role if you are a sales engineer. Sometimes if I wonder if I am under compensated, and not sure that I trust Glassdoor. Anybody feel like anonymously exchanging and compensation information?
Without location, role title, YOE, TC how can we help you
Texas Technical Sales 139k target comp but usually around 150-170k for the year
Glassdoor is junk and completely wrong for every role i've ever looked at. Its as legit as the reviews. SE's can make anywhere from 100-300k+ TC.
Depends on YOE, and location, and skill.
I’m an SE with 7.5 yoe and no advanced degree. TC- 230. Great career path btw
How tf do I get into tech as a sales engineer
Be technical and good looking :P JK jk. I'd find a place that has intro sales engineer roles. Like SAP had a presales academy. I did not do it myself but the people coming out that thing we're presales beasts.
200k TC 5 yoe .
That’s good
3 years experience: 108 base 135 OTE, more so around 150k+ with accelerators. Not including stock etc.
It really depends on location as certain locations like Bay Area and NYC are experiencing insane living costs. In those areas 230-300 TC is appropriate. Not including stock. Stock all depends on the board and the round when you start
160 base, 200 OTE.
The job isn’t for you if you don’t have an engineer degree What’s your TC
Not true
