When, and at what level, did you get in? https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.cnbc.com/amp/2018/08/27/toyota-to-invest-500-million-in-uber-at-a-valuation-of-72b-wsj.html
Uber
What’s the new 409a?
When I saw this my valuation of Toyota fell by 50%, shame on them!
Every eng, even fresh grads who joined before 2015, and not on paper (because of tender).
hi there
...literally every engineer who joined 4 years ago, at any level
This is correct
Uber stock price was $42 earlier this year for new hires, and was in the $30s in 2017, and $20s in 2016. So you're currently looking at $10 to $20 profit on each share. Most get between 2,000 and 6,000 shares, so the range is $20,000 to $120,000 profit before tax. So good, but not life changing.
Anyone who has been with uber before 2016. They used to give equivalent of 20k rsu. Congrats if you are! I know my 25 year old colleague at swe level 4 has 18000 shares. He joined right out of college. He is average and doesnt use list comprehension well too
This didn’t age well...
Ha!
Technically any stock net worth is paper net worth. Bezos doesn't have $100 billion in cash
True, but I think the intent of my question is clear.
