Any female Meta engineers here?

Looking for some help with respect to support provided by Meta during pregnancy and maternity.

I am a top performer but worried about how life will change after childbirth. Would like to know about the support Meta provides in these circumstances. Are there high chances of layoff if you are not very productive during the initial few months after childbirth

    Male here
I believe they get 7 months off
After that you can adjust expectations with your manager. Your ratings probably not be stellar but I highly doubt layoffs.
Our team and possibly all teams in FB are very sensitive to new mothers and immensely supportive

Be it man or woman. Childcare will have a bearing on your career. Its everywhere. It has to do with not being able to perform as well.
Understandable and most good companies will cut you a slack. I can assure that about Meta

Lol Uber changed all their comments because it was nonsense.

Don’t apologize OP, Uber is either a troll or mentally ill (unrelated to any trans stuff).
