Bloomberg doesnt :(
Cold hard cash.
Bloomberg is private company, of coz there’s no RSU. Same for most trading firms / funds. Heard banks do give RSU to MDs, but not that much.
private company can and do give RSUs
Then that’s equity, cannot be sold to public
Most fin companies are privately held so you should be glad they pay cash instead of giving out worthless paper money. Some hedge funds let you invest in the funds they run, I guess that's closest you can get to non-worthless RSUs.
I thought you were talking abt FANNG RSU, fine. Anyway private companies can only give out stock options or equity.
Yes, you should focus on getting paid well -- as long as they're doing that, why would you want the pay to be in stock instead of cash? Unless you're at a private start-up that's clearly the next google, you're better off getting paid in cash and then using that cash to buy whatever stock you like. Much more flexibility and diversification. But since you asked -- yes, many banks these days pay part of the bonus in stock. There are a couple publicly traded hedge funds (Och Ziff, Fortress, etc) that do too.
GS does
Really? For all roles and for Technology division too?
Tech for sure
Nasdaq does!
E*trade to some employees on higher levels
We do :)
