Working at Automattic is awesome. The interview process is arduous. The details are available in a number of places on the web. Just do the search. Designers now have a slightly modified process as there is a team dedicated to designer hiring. If you are not a fan of John Maeda you probably wonβt like working at Automattic. Most of our design folk seem to love home though. Some in the rest of the company express frustration with certain aspects of his role and performance there. That said, he keeps it lively no matter what.
