As if the process wasn’t grueling enough, doing it when you have children seems almost impossible. Anyone have any advice?

Calculate their college education fee we will be paying in future to get motivation.
I have studied during pregnancy and while feeding baby, I am still working on it

First, get your spouse onboard. If they don't agree to you taking the time to prepare and they doing more chores and spending more time with kids it'll be hard. Then study hard to make their efforts worth it.

I had a 1 year old. Leetcode after they went to bed was my strategy. Supplemented with a little during the workday.

Seriously. 180 LC in 3-4 months? With a baby! Wow. That’s impressive. So which offer did you take? I’m assuming you’re not at Jabil anymore??

I don't recall my ratio, it was all off. I did a lot of easy problems to just be doing something if I went a couple days without doing any lc. Also after doing around 100 I found reading solutions then doing them a couple days later to be almost as helpful as doing them cold and took less time

Also, my sleep schedule is weird, kid goes to bed around 9 and I'll go to bed around 1so i have some evening time. My wife is a SAHM and I have a condition that makes waking up in the night dangerous so she always handled the baby.

Like others said, I explained the difference in pay between FAANG and non FAANG, and the generous parental leave policies and that I thought I could get there with prep so my wife was onboard. I had several failed interviews before G and F, prepping with real interviews was just as important.

We were pretty socially distanced due to covid too, didn't have much going on socially.

      At Facebook now.

  • Yes, getting max 4 hour sleep everyday. And drinking energy drink next day. I think I started to get a little depressed after a few weeks. Pretty bad advice so don't do it. Take your time and read the problem and try to solve it mentally and whenever you get a chance write it down.
