Hello folks, I’m thinking of moving to Slack from Salesforce (basically changing the team within Salesforce). I’m curious to know about the work culture, technology stack, post acquisition impactand growth opportunities in Slack. Also, do we get RSU refresh on switching internally? Any information is appreciated. Thank you. TC: 140k YOE: 6 #Slack #Salesforce
Btw, isn't 140k for 6 YOE low paid?
Yes, it is. That’s one of the reason to make a move.
Internal transfer is not gonna get you where you ought to be, bud. I was making 170k at 1.5 YOE, but I am in FAANG, which I understand can be a high bar. The biggest comp bump will come from looking outside and getting a couple competing offers
What’s their remote work policy?
Slack is OK with full remote

Internal switch do not get any changes in comp. It’s a full loop, same as external candidates.
