My daughter (a fresh grad) is actively looking for a job and was contacted by S-cube agency offering her a position at Walmart labs. They sent her an NCA to sign before any interview process would start. She signed it before talking to me first (darn millennials!) Altogether it looks and feels extremely fishy. The numbers are too good to be true. The agreement prohibits her to seek an employment with other clients of S-cube - nobody knows who are those clients, their website shows Infosys, Oracle, Amazon and a few others, but no Walmart. Weird and suspicious all around. I don't want her to deal with these guys. Anybody knows about this agency?
Definitely shady. Avoid.
🤢
Most people who get jobs via such co silting agencies are people who are at the bottom of the ladder and are not able to get jobs with normal interviewing. These guys do a lot of under the table and unscrupulous stuff. Plus they only pay a fraction of what they get from the company. Avoid unless you are desperate.
*consulting
thanks guys. trying to pull my daughter out of this.
Avoid any Indian consultancy, not worth it. And report it to department of labor (DOL) if you can. Save some innocent hard workers!!!
Wouldn't wish it upon my worst enemy.
There really isn't a lack of good jobs to be had in software engineering. Feel free to PM me.
+1 avoid this shit like the plague... lets us refer her if she is good.
I would stay away from Indian consulting companies.
