Anyone considering waiting for TSLA model Y?
Looking for a car, considering EV. Tesla model 3 is of course top of the list. Wife would prefer a crossover, and as we have a kid on the way, tend to agree that would be more practical. Model Y would check a lot of boxes. Should we get somthing temporary now, and then invest in a model Y? Anyone else willing to wait for the Y? What are your thoughts either way?

Invest was a bad choice of words. Should have said "splurge" :) Getting a used leaf or bolt would save more than 20-30k for sure. Not a huge fan of either though. If anything #2 choice is a Kona or iPace

Me! Booked it earlier this year..I think its going to be out sooner than next summer.
Just get a 3. Y just has more trunk space. I have 2014 model S and it still feels like going back in time every time I get into a rental car when I travel.
Also fed incentives expire dec 31, just get a 👌
I doubt they’ve even started working on that aside from a hand built prototype. They had to work on the truck to take in even more deposits since the Y bombed so badly.
