Anyone did a hair transplant?

Was it worth it? Thinking of doing one in Turkey where they are actually good and not ridiculously expensive.

Asians is not a color. Muslim is not a color. Those nouns are not offensive. Also, colorism is pervasive across the world such that the darker one is, the less human one gets treated (in general). This is also partially why referring to someone as just a “black” is offensive. Exactly as @Madagascah said above.

Risk what? American surgeons are pretty much over priced garbage and I say this with first hand experience of their shitty job. Expensive != quality. If it were, our health care would be good.

This. I can't talk about the quality for other countries' healthcare, but I can 100% attest the quality of Turkish ones as a person who had their fair share of getting healthcare treatments both in USA and Turkey. To be fair, I had better experiences in US at some specialty areas than I'd in Turkey (namely obgyn, mental health, dentistry), but considering the rest I'd consider Turkey once again.

I can think of 2 important reasons as to why. First one is that it's not as easy for doctors to migrate overseas for work purposes (compared to developers). Most of them have to go to medical school and get into exams again just to obtain the license that'd be valid in USA (or whatever country the want to migrate to). This is also the reason why US isn't exactly that much crowded with top quality doctors of the world. There's a blocker that costs about a million dollar to begin with.

Another reason is that because healthcare is free in Turkey, doctors have to see many cases/patients on a daily basis. They become both efficient and knowledgeable. The added experience shows itself especially when compared to doctors of a country that doesn't have free healthcare.

  • In turkey you see people all over wearing head bands. It’s really popular over there and there seems to be a lot of clinics. I would do your research carefully and if you do it there be sure to go to a very top place.
