Anyone else freak out when the phone rings and it’s your parents?
Even when you talk and hangout at least a couple times a week? You always think the worst and just know there is some kind of medical emergency... Parents getting older and health problems are terrible. How do you cope? Any advice? TC $183K 10 YoE
Not when it rings, but I do get freaked out often. I call them myself more frequently and check in how are they doing health wise. But sooner or later we all have to accept the biggest truth of life.

Yes, I freak out, but I freak out even more when I call and there is no answer. Even if they callback in the next 5 mins, those are the most tensed 5 mins of the week.
