Just asking. I was surprised to know that a friend of mine who works at intel has eBay business and make 3-4K profit every month. His wife helps him out.
How do you get time to do that ?
Depends entirely on how deep you want to go. I launched my own brand. Do all my own product photos, website, print material, etc. If you're just arbitraging existing products, figure you're giving up a few weekends to get started, and then at these sales numbers, 1-2 hours per night of packing and shipping. If you choose the right products, you can use FBA. I'm looking at moving to that model at some point.
I have one grossing that amount, but it's far from profit. Reinvesting any profit into more inventory. Find something popular, find the supplier on Alibaba, see if they can run a unique variation for you. Alternatively, arbitrage opportunities exist between Amazon and eBay, or between international eBay and US (people want to buy from US sellers).
