Microsoft is like the tortoise and the hare... Eventually you come out ahead, but it takes forever.

My friend got in a few years before they were bought. Negotiated for more stock then base. Ended up with 2 mil in stocks after the sale.

Not sure about fte but recently their intern comp practically doubled. 9k/mo + housing and other perks now

Bad pay, bad culture, bad tech. Unless you super strongly resonate with their culture, don't work there.
