Has anyone passed HC but not gotten an offer or rejected by VP/SVP step? How likely is an offer after passing HC?
I passed HC, got offered way below market, and got blacklisted for 1 year when I failed to sign within 4 days. that's a bit different though.
Was said to hold 1/1000 probability by Google folks on HC.
I think it should be much higher than this.
I quoted my sources. Take it or leave it. The reasons are usually changes in headcount/budget, some rare red flags, or wanting too much money. Clarification: The probability of not getting an offer after passing HC is 1/1000.
I got rejected by SVP after HC approval also had a team match and comp team approved my compensation at that time. But I was very fortunate that after a month my recruiter and manager overturned the decision of SVP by getting approval from another SVP. This situation is very rare but often heard in google cloud org. If this situation happens be nice to your recruiter as he/she will be the one who can help u out. Good luck.
It happens but it’s rare. Often times when it does happen, it’s because of headcount/budget.
I wrote off google a while ago but now that I passed HC I stupidly have my hopes way up
You should have your hopes up if you passed HC. It’s pretty rare to get rejected after this stage. However you’ll need to find a team and that can take some time.
