Apartment recommendation near Sunnyvale

Soon I will be working at Sunnyvale. Looking for a decent place, not too expensive but don't wanna live in a sketchy community either. 1 bed or studio preferred. Looking to keep the commute under 30 mins in rush hours (drive or train). What should be my budget? Can anybody recommend any apartment?

Which company are you joining? What’s your TC? (Blind Etiquette)

Apple and maybe others provide free bus service to many locations away Sunnyvale. 20 miles away will save you tons of $$$

Nice. Close to work. Cheap. Pick 2 unless your TC is >300k

I didn't necessarily ask for cheap. Just mentioned that I didn't need the most expensive ones. I care more about how good the actual apartment is than how many amenities the community has.

The budget will depend on you. What you’re looking for is how much can you expect. Even 1BRs can cost over $2500. Get a roommate to save on rent.

Look into rooms and shares if you can tolerate the sometimes restrictive lifestyle that subjects you to.

A lot of apartment communities along El Camino Real. Arbor Terraces is one of them. That’s a good one.

Sunnyvale is sooo boring so check out the surroundings and see if you’re ok with it

The surrounding cities aren’t any less or more boring. There’s a lot all over the Bay Area and South Bay so not sure why it’s so boring to you.
