Apple - did i get referred to another team?
I gave my first phone round for team x which I had scheduled 2 weeks back. Just 3 hours after interview recruiter from team y ( a totally different team) reaches out on the same day. I am unable to understand what happened in the background. Did i get rejected for x and got reffered to y? or is this a separate call and recruiter from y knows nothing about x? I didnt get a result yet for interview x obviously. can someone please tell me what might have happened internally? My interview was overall 8/10 Solved 3/4 questions (easy-medium) got 4rth almost right. #apple
Recruiters a lot of times don’t even know you’re talking to multiple. They ask you. Hiring managers too. It’s so team specific.
My guess is that it’s just a coincidence. Two different teams are looking to hire. Or one team is working with multiple recruiters to hire for the role
