    Your question contradicts itself.
Being in CoreOS and WLB? This team's code is foundation of apple products. Now do the match how many Apple products are out there and how many days in a week you have to work? It wont add up.

But if you want to do great work and deliver great products, you should not go and chase an easy route. WLB should not ever be an issue as it gets better when you spend enough time and become an old timer.

Question you need to ask is do you have everything which it takes to survive until then?

It is probably the most prestigious org in all of Apple but is a brutal sweatshop. Wlb is messed up throughout year. You choose.

Wlb is bad at Apple for core teams.Period.
Honestly— I not being mean— but if wlb is key for you where you are in life, you probably won’t be too happy with joining Apple.

Bunch of arrogant white guys running it especially the new ML teams in Core Os org. Wasted a year there.

It really depends on how many experienced people are there in the team. Our team had like 6 lifers and I was the only "new guy" Got ragged to oblivion. Worked on weekends etc to catch up and deliver but lack of documentation, design docs, etc its tuff. Apple is popular for being VERY TOP DOWN and being compartmentalised and they dont allow you to shift teams easily. You don't feel heard in decision making. Thats why if you have any problems, leaving is the only option. In my past 2 companies and current company, I have complete visibility and can sit in on any VP/Director level meeting I want and contribute to design etc. I really value that.
