Bachelors New Grad with YOE: ~2 years (almost at the mark) Org: SWE / Craig Level: ICT3 (got promoted last year) Base: 130k Stock refresh last year: $80k Review: 9/9 with super high impact on everything on team being the go to person for any technical issues rather than the senior devs. Consistent complements on work from higher up management. Did not get a mid year compensation update. Feeling low balled recently, thoughts please?
For your experience, it's an ok TC, but if you are as valuable as you say, you should ask for more. Also ask for a promotion. ICT 4 had a wide band of TC, you can make a lot more at that level.
Thanks, have asked for a promo but seems it’d be next year likely hoping for the best. Kinda was expecting to have had a mid year bump to $136ish by now though, a little frustrated
Is mid year compensation a thing over there?
Many folks seem to get it. I know of some that even got a 8% bump mid year in base
How was the interview?
It’s been a while but it was a full day 9 - 5 PM with shit ton of whiteboards, design, personality based questions

I have a similar profile as you with similar compensation except I'm in Eddy's org and an SRE. After vesting in September, I'm looking to be either considered for ICT4 or looking for better opportunities. It sucks because I have an outstanding boss and wonderful teammates. My fingers are crossed that I can stay and won't have to look.
Yeah I agree, might get to $150k base I imagine
Looks good for ICT3. Try push you manager to promote you at 2020 spring or fall.
