does apple hire or promote HW engineers to IC6? how regular event it is. i heard some where only 4-5 people are IC6

There are many ict6s (1/100 to 1/10 of engineers, depending on the team).

How confident r u of the data 1/10 in h/w (not s/w)? ICT6 is equivalent to L6 (Principal Engr) @ Google..

Ict6 is equivalent to L7 @google (senior staff). I saw 1/15 in hardware(out of around 100 people). I also saw one software team with around 1/50.
